This study on 54 veterans with chronic neck disorders was recently published in the Journal JMPT and showed significant improvement with chiropractic management and treatment. I have recently had several active and retired military people start treatment and it is always disapointing to inform them that the military insurance plan Tricare does not have any chiropractic coverage :-(

Dr. Steven Santolin Attends Knee Diagnosis and Management Lecture by Chadwick Prodromos of the IL Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Centers

Dr. Steven Santolin attended a 3 hour lecture by Dr. Chadwick Prodromos of the Illinois Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Centers on October 18th. Dr. Prodromos spoke of diagnosis and treatments of common knee disorders including meniscal tears, anterior cruciate ligament tears, other ligament tears and the knee, patellar disorders, and surgical and nonsurgical alternatives to knee replacements.

This is the latest of several reports by Congress urging the Dept of Defense to increase the use of chiropractic care for the treatment of combat injuries stating that musculoskeletal injuries are twice as common as combat injuries. Chiropractors now practice at 60 military facilities.

There were no other options for our patients to receive all the care they needed, until now.
