The American Chiropractic Association recently announced that a new bill authorizes funding for a provision directing the Pentagon to conduct a study on the feasibility of providing chiropractic services to military retirees.
Currently military personnel have no chiropractic insurance benefits.

Senate Panel Urges Pentagon to Increase Troop Access to Chiropractic
This is the latest of several reports by Congress urging the Dept of Defense to increase the use of chiropractic care for the treatment of combat injuries stating that musculoskeletal injuries are twice as common as combat injuries. Chiropractors now practice at 60 military facilities.
