We are excited to share great news from Santolin Chiropractic Clinic. We are constantly looking for better ways to serve our patients. Over the years, with more frequency lately, we've had patients not be able to complete their care plan or receive the care that was needed because they did not have insurance or a third-party payer assisting with their financial responsibility. Even though in our practice we make it easy for patients to find a payment plan they can work within their family budget including the CareCredit healthcare credit card, some people were uncomfortable carrying a balance in our office. There were no other options for our patients to receive all the care they needed, until now.

We are excited to say that Dr. Santolin has achieved provider status with ChiroHealthUSA. ChiroHealthUSA is a discount medical plan organization that allows uninsured, underinsured or partially insured patients the ability to receive care at a discount.

For patients that were unable to complete a recommended care plan in the past, or for patients who have been hesitant about referring a friend or family member that is uninsured, underinsured or partially insured, you now have an option. Anyone in our community can become a ChiroHealthUSA member to access care in our office at discounted prices. Membership status with ChiroHealthUSA can quickly be applied for right in our office and it is only $39 per year for coverage for the entire family (all legal dependents).

We will continue to give the best service possible to our community, and now we know we can reach even more community members with your help. If you've not been in for a while, and want to return please call our office at 815-744-4442. Santolin Chiropractic Clinic and Dr. Steven Santolin are now providers for the Blue Cross HMO of Illinois plan and the Blue Advantage HMO through the Silver Cross Managed Care Organization.

Senate Bill to Expand Veterans’ Access to Chiropractic Care Introduced

There has been progress, unfortunately very slow, with providing chiropractic care for veterans and military. So this is very big news! Currently chiropractic care is provided to veterans at 40 VA clinics across the country. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) has introduced legislation in the U.S. Senate designed to fully integrate chiropractic care as a covered service within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system.

One Leg Greg

This is a website for Greg Beene who is a one legged bicycle racer. After losing his leg in a motorcycle accident, he was told he would probably never walk again. He now walks and bikes! :-)
I have rode with him on a couple Joliet Bicycle Club rides and I rode a 65 miles invitational ride with him a couple years ago. He is trying out for the US Paralympic team in July and hopes to also compete next year in London.

Dr. Steven Santolin DC attends American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Council s national Sympsium

Dr. Santolin DC recently attended the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Council national symposium and received 14 hours of continuing education in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. This is part of his requirements for his diplomate status as a board certified chiropractic rehabilitation specialist.
