Appreciation of patients makes it all worthwhile

The young American bicycle racer Andrew Talansky recently became only the third American to win the prestigious Dauphine race beating the favorites for this year's Tour de France.
“You put your life into something — the sacrifices, the training, the times when you crash or get sick — but it’s moments like this that make everything worth it,” said Talansky. “Just one moment like this makes you forget it all. This is why we do this, for moments like today.”
I feel the same way every time a patient tells me how much I helped them get their life back
